What You'll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day route operations for our dedicated grocery customer fleet.
• Schedule, plan, and confirm deliveries, ensuring on-time performance.
• Utilize our advanced tracking system to monitor truck locations and goods.
• Manage driver assignments, dispatching them efficiently to and from jobs.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers and clients, addressing any service issues promptly.
• Handle paperwork, track expenses, and manage vehicle/equipment maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with transportation managers, driver liaisons, and the service department for route optimization.
• Assist in determining daily driver staffing needs to maximize productivity.
• Maintain accurate records and distribute driver information to relevant departments.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations.

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:

• Experience in transportation logistics, preferably as a dispatcher.
• A strong background in the transportation industry (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A customer-oriented approach with a focus on exceeding expectations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• The ability to work independently, including overnight shifts.
