Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator will work to provide various levels of support to the Logistics Broker team and our customers. With frequent daily check-ins they will monitor freight for efficient pick-up and delivery.
They will collaborate internally with the Logistics Brokers, and directly with third party carriers. They will excel in this role if they are diligent workers who communicate clearly with various partners to gather and report information regarding load status.
They must be proactive about reporting abnormalities that they seek from carriers such as early arrivals, delays during transportation and / or late delivery estimates.
The information gathered and communicated to the operations team will be a key contribution to the success of the overall department.
