Titan Solar Power is currently seeking an experienced and driven Permit Runner to join our team.
Summary:
The Permit Runner is an integral part of Titan Solar Powers' success and will focus heavily on working with the jurisdictions on plan checks and permit issuance. Time will be spent driving a company vehicle to and from local jurisdictions submitting and retrieving solar permits.
Responsibilities:
Effectively manage your schedule to complete several time-sensitive tasks daily.
Ensure permit runs are marked on the calendar with details regarding whereabouts, TSP, etc.
Properly scan and upload relevant documents to Netsuite.
Assist in the creation of permit packets.
Maintain accurate and detailed permit status and notation.
Organize routes, drop plans on-site, and occasionally place labels if needed.
Communicate with several AHJ's on a daily basis.
Work closely with the permitting department.
Education & Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Construction-related background is a plus
Effective time management skills
Alternate sitting or standing at will
Crouching or bending
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Able to travel up to 20% of the time
