Overview

Titan Security Group is currently seeking to hire a Clerical Correction's Admin to work at a location in the Lincoln Park area. The Admin for this position will work in a correctional facility setting and will be responsible for duties to include:

• Oversee and monitor the activities of the intake and release areas.
• Complete all daily information forms necessary in processing offenders in/out of the facility.
• Update computer upon arrivals/departures of offenders.
• Update count board upon arrival/departure of offenders. 
• Operate Fingerprinting for incoming offenders.
• Ensure all arriving offenders receive appropriate identification, including ID and wristband.
• Responsible for completion of inventory of property for incoming/outgoing offenders.
• Properly identify each offender scheduled to be released.
• Notify necessary departments of pending incoming/outgoing offenders.

 Hourly compensation will start at $18.00 per hour, with a full-time schedule (including weekends) and will recieve paid training. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

• Ability to handle physical and mental stress associated with working extended hours.

• Must be able to regularly report to work without being late.

• Ability to be physically alert on any shift that is assigned.

• Work experience in a correctional setting is preferred.

• May be required to possess a valid state driver’s license.

• Must be mature, flexible, able to command the respect and confidence of inmates or detainees and staff, philosophically committed to the objectives of the facility, and possess a high tolerance to mental stress.

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers

• 1 year experience as a security or corrections officer
