Overview
Titan Security is currently hiring for Security Officers to work at a location in the Wixom, Michigan area.
Applicants can be immediately interviewed by applying online at / careers or in person between the hours of 8 : 00am to 3 : 00pm Monday - Friday at : 18000 W Nine Mile Rd, #1200, Southfield
To be considered for this position, candidates must be available to start immediatly upon hire, have no criminal history, pass a drug test, and have verifiable work (security related preffered) history.
Responsibilities
- Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
- Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
- Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
- Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualification s of Security Officers :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50 lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
