Optician Position in Fitchburg, MA

This role is with a not-for-profit organization known for its commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to a diverse patient population, including underinsured, uninsured, and low-income individuals.

Total Compensation Package (Benefits, PTO, Advantages, etc.):

  • Hourly Pay Range: $26 - $34, based on experience and qualifications
  • Health Insurance – Employer contributes 70%

Responsibilities:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • Assist patients with eyewear selection, fitting, adjustments, and repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service and patient care
  • Collaborate with optometrists and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient vision care
  • Manage and maintain eyewear inventory
  • No Weekends or Nights required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Optician
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of current eyewear trends, lens options, and optical products
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
