Directs, coordinates, and oversees the University's financial aid program. Ensures that financial aid contributes toward enrollment goals.

The Assistant Director of Financial Aid will oversee financial aid related customer engagement including, but not limited to the Financial Aid Wellness Center, Financial Aid Counseling (in-person, virtual, email, phone, on-line chat, etc.), Financial Aid website (content & design), forms, communications, and staff participation in programs including admissions/financial aid programs. This position will serve as the primary contact for the staffing and scheduling the Financial Aid Wellness Center and initial point of contact for escalated service concerns. This is a supervisory position and the Assistant Director along with their team will contribute to supporting University policies and procedures for awarding and disbursing aid to meet institutional and enrollment objectives, and recommend changes as necessary.

Most work is sedentary, completed within an office setting. Employee must be able to move about the campus to meetings and travel to locations outside of the University of Pittsburgh.
