Titan Farms is Hiring a Computer Technician Near Spring, SC

Computer Technician - Titan Farms is seeking a entry level computer technician to join our team. This position will report directly to the Director of IT and will provide direct support and provide technical assistance to the farm computers. This is an entry level position that can lead to other opportunities down the road.

Position Requirements:

  • Provide technical assistance and resolution as necessary
  • Set up hardware, install and configure software and drivers
  • Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g. routers) or peripheral devices
  • Install well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components
  • Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks
  • Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
  • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
  • Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
  • Run wire and connect to the network / peripherals as necessary
  • Offer timely technical support and tech end users how to utilize computers and programs correctly
  • Ability to work with and support team members and leadership effectively and professionally
  • Report and give feedback to the Director of IT as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but 3 years of experience may be substituted for degree
  • Current CompTIA A certification preferred
  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Operation Systems is required
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast paced environment
