Tiny Hearts Academy is a small family-owned daycare center.

Full time/Part Time early childhood education teacher. Lead teacher qualifications preferred, however, we do offer support, training, and continued professional development inhouse. We are looking for someone that has a passion for working with young children (ages 3 months -5 years of age).

Our early childhood teachers are responsible for the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children in their care, which may include infants, toddlers and/or preschool age children; develops partnerships with birth parents/child’s caregivers to engage and encourage parent participation in program. Teachers are expected to care for each child, interact and build relationships, play and have fun with them, clean and organize classrooms.

```Duties```
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the classroom
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Assess the developmental needs of each child and create individualized learning plans
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

```Qualifications```
- Education in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices
- Familiarity with literacy education and early childhood curriculum frameworks
- Experience working with students who have special education needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of part of our team
