Overview :
We are currently seeking Substitute Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our team. As a Substitute or Assistant Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in various classrooms and grade levels, providing support and instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
This is a flexible position that offers valuable experience working with students in a diverse educational setting.
Duties :
- Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher and deliver instruction to students.
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of different learners.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback as necessary.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classrooms and grade levels.
Please note that this position requires availability on an on-call basis, as substitute assignments may vary. Substitute Teachers must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions provided by the absent teacher.
