Timpanogos Hiking Co. is an independent outdoor apparel brand based just beneath the Wasatch Mountain Range in Downtown Provo, named after the majestic Mount Timpanogos. Our slogan: escape the noise. We believe hiking and being out in nature offers something people need now more than ever -- especially in the midst of a mental health epidemic.

What we're looking for?

We need someone for Saturdays (6-hour shift) and a couple of other late afternoon/evening shifts on weekdays. We hope to offer more hours going forward if desired.

We are in our second year as a business. We have a small, scrappy team and a great culture. We are looking for people who are hard-working, energetic, and proactive to help us continue to grow the business. 85% of our business is online so even when people aren't in the store, there are a lot of things to do.

Our philosophy is to train you to do a lot of things, but also to find what you are best at.

Tasks will include running checkout, interacting with customers, store maintenance, inventory management, knowledge of local mountains and trails, and online order fulfillment.

Depending on strengths you might also help with social media, ambassador program, podcast, among other endeavors.

The job is part-time. 6-12 hours per week to start. Must be able to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Help customers find the right product for their needs.
• Maintain a neat and organized store.
• Assist with stocking shelves and other duties as assigned.
• Process payments and handle returns.
• Doing online fulfillment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
