Timmerman Finishing Inc. is looking for the right person to join our team. We have been a leader in industrial coating services for almost 40 years.
Our ideal team member would have experience in scheduling and production management. They would also possess excellent verbal communication skills, be self-motivated, detail oriented and a positive team leader. Must be able to problem solve, multitask, and handle short lead times. Experience in the Paint and Powder coating industry would be a big plus!
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving and incoming Purchase Orders and verify quantity and parts.
- Create production schedules for paint line and paint booth(s) based on sales orders and delivery requirements from customers.
- Verify materials for jobs and prepare purchase orders to obtain parts, services and materials as needed. Communicate with outside suppliers to obtain what is needed for job.
- Ensure all production output and quality meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Supervise daily work of all production staff.
- Work with Line Manager and Shipping Manager to ensure that jobs are done on time. Contact customers to arrange for pickup.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as required.
Other Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues and eliminate unnecessary downtime.
- Assist with Shipping and Receiving when necessary.
- Plan direct staffing needs to meet production forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to multi-task and react in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under pressure to meet customer deadlines.
- Able to lift and move 50 lbs.
Wage will be based on experience.
