Staffing
- schedule staff and maintain ratios. hire, train and mentor staff.
- set appropriate expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching including annual performance appraisals.
- conduct regular staff meetings.
- encourage teamwork, resolve conflicts and support staff as needed.
-ensure all Center policies and procedures are followed and provide coaching as needed.
-work with lead curriculum coach and teachers to utilize age appropriate curriculum
Communication
-maintain clear and ongoing communication with parents, staff, DHS, Accountants,other vendors and partners.
-meet with the Board monthly and provide updates as needed or requested; keep board informed on high level Center activities
-send out a monthly newsletter
Administrative
-Ensure all licensing requirements are met.
-maintain all child and staff files.
-Submit payroll weekly. Parent billing submitted weekly; collect payments and make deposits.
-Submit CCA claims biweekly.
-ensure CACFP claims are submitted biweekly and ensure compliance with guidelines
-pick up mail and ensure bills are sent to the accountant in a timely manner
-complete child schedules weekly. Send out staff schedules and submit catering order weekly.
-ensure all staff meet training requirements to meet State licensing requirements.
-write grants
-ensure lesson plans are completed and posted in the classrooms
Facilities
-ensure the facility is clean and safe. Maintain facilities and inform board of needed repairs or upgrades.
-ensure file, tornado and other drills are conducted monthly.
-conduct monthly playground checks.
-orders supplies
Fulltime position -40 hours per week. Salaried 37-40K based on experience and education.
Experience in a daycare setting is preferred but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
