Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating an all terrain forklifts. Your main duties will include loading and unloading materials from truck, moving products and supplies throughout the yard and assisting with order picking.
Responsibilities:
- #1 responsibly is to be a SAFE forklift driver and be responsible for conducting a forklift check list daily.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement of items
- Transport products to designated areas in the warehouse for storage or distribution
- Assist with order picking by locating and retrieving items from storage areas
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and management to ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Proven experience operating a forklift in outside conditions and on uneven surfaces
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to safely handle heavy loads and operate equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems is a plus
