TIMBERLINE DISTRICT CONSULTING LLC is Hiring a Facilities and Pool Technician - Seasonal Near Arvada, CO

Foothills Facilities Maintenance specializes in providing facilities and pool services for HOA and Metropolitan District Communities. We provide a wide range of services including pool operations and maintenance, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc. repairs, park inspections, exterior building repairs and general handyman services. We take pride in our ability to provide a “one stop shop” for our customers saving them both time and money. 

Foothills Facilities Maintenance is seeking a SeasonalFull-time Facilities Maintenance and Pool Technician.The Facilities Maintenance and Pool Technician will assist with general maintenance and repairs as well as swimming pool start up, daily chemical checks, and cleaning. The schedule for this position includes rotating weekends. The term for this position is May through October 2024. 

This role requires occasional interaction with the public, community residents, Board members and other contractors. We expect all of our employees to have a clean and professional demeanor. Our technicians must be willing and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced, team environment. Some days are pressure filled and you’ll need to remain flexible, resourceful, and efficient. Our ideal candidate is someone with prior pool or maintenance experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performs semi-skilled maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor

  • Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner

  • Prepare and maintain outdoor pools and pool buildings for summer operation and winter shut down

  • Handle hazardous chemicals such as chlorine, bromine, muriatic acid, and test kit materials for pool set ups

  • Maintain the pool area including cleaning of the deck and other maintenance tasks.

  • Maintains various records such as pool logs, equipment, time, material, and parts inventory

  • Ability to be “on call” for emergency maintenance

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • 1 Year relevant work experience

Preferred but not Required: 

  • Knowledge of skilled trade 

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certificate
