Timber Ridge School is a 12-month residential treatment center and fully accredited school. Our campus is located about 20 miles north of Winchester, Virginia. · Provide residential supervision, recreation skills and counseling to students.

· Consistently provides the students in care with a model of a competent adult, reflecting in all regards the behaviors being sought from the students.

· In accordance with established procedures, intervenes in crisis situations, which may occur.

· Implements, on a daily basis, a coordinated program of services to students assigned to the unit.

· Ensures the continued safety and welfare of students in care through monitoring health and hygiene practices, dietary habits, administration of medication, etc.

· Maintains all records in a confidential manner in accordance with established regulations.

· Work assignments are inside and outside of buildings and are subject to all weather conditions.

· Varying evening weekday hours, Sat & Sun 1am-1pm every other week.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must have Valid Driver’s License

·* GED or high school diploma required plus 6 months experience working with teenagers OR Associates Degree plus 3 months experience working with teenagers OR Bachelor’s Degree.*

· Volunteer experience with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Coaching or Scouting a PLUS.

· Professional work or volunteer experience with teenagers required.
