Tim Sayed MD is a growing and exciting boutique plastic surgery practice in San Diego and Newport Beach, CA. We are collaborative, customer-centric, innovative and our goal is to be THE best plastic surgery practice in southern California.

We have two offices in La Jolla/UTC and in Newport Beach. This position would be based in the La Jolla location but there will be some required travel to the Newport office (typically Tuesdays only), with mileage compensation. Both locations are busy and we continue to draw patients from around the country.

Job responsibilities include:

• Chaperoning in consultations, preop and postop visits
• Performing preop counseling and ensuring preop documentation is complete and sent to surgery centers/hospitals
• Requesting and following up on labs, medical clearances, and prescriptions
• Changing dressings, removing drains and sutures, and triaging patient concerns
• Completing clinical paperwork including assisting in insurance and disability paperwork requests
• Maintaining inventory of medical supplies
• Sterilizing and preparing instruments and materials
• Participating in social media promotion of the practice
• Learning to use the EMR/Practice management and other software systems required by the office
• Maintaining clinical compliance documentation, credentials and other important paperwork
• Rooming patients, assisting as necessary in cleaning the rooms after each encounter - this is mostly the clinical team's duty but everyone helps out.

Experience in the plastic surgery, medspa or dermatology space is essential.

Our practice focuses on breast implant removal (explant/en bloc surgery), revision breast surgery, facelifts, tummy tucks, liposuction and a variety of medical spa treatments that are growing!
