This position will assist the Summer School Interventionist/Coordinator and teachers in the implementation of the Summer School program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to support students in behavior, math, and language arts lessons
• Must possess excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to appropriately manage student behaviors in both classroom and outdoor settings
• Proficiency in English and Spanish languages preferred
• Experience working with primary level ELL students
• Certified teachers and classified EA employees welcome to apply

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work together with other instructors in managing student behavior and helping students succeed
• Assist Interventionist/Coordinator with daily tasks
• Coordinate transportation for students
• Ordering of necessary supplies

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• July 29, 2024 – August 16, 2024
• 4 hours per day, regular EA rate
• Rate for external candidates to be determined -
• 2024/25 Salary Schedule currently in negotiations – (2023/24 pay scale $14.94 – $16.49/hr)
