About the Position

Tillamook PUD is offering a one-year employment opportunity for a 2024/2025 High School Senior (16 years or older). Applicants are required to submit a complete application, cover letter, and one letter of recommendation. Application materials are due by May 16, 2024.

Specific job tasks include, but are not limit to:

  • Separate materials for recycling
  • Account for items returned to stock
  • Fill materials list from crews
  • Monitor stocking levels and fill shelves when necessary
  • Clean warehouse and dock areas
  • Perform minor maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Perform minor buildings and grounds maintenance
  • Close down/lock up the warehouse at night

  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of people

Work Environment:

  • Greasy, oily, dirty
  • The warehouse may be cold at times
  • Sturdy work boots required

Wages/Start Date:

  • $19 per hour
  • Start date approximately mid-June (interviews to take place late May)

Hours:

  • During school breaks, full-time (summer, winter, and spring):
    • Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
  • When school is in session:
    • Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm (minimum 2.5 hours)
    • Monday - Thursday, 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm (preferred 0 hours)
