Screen Room Technicians are responsible for facilitating the recycling and production of screens for all screen print production presses using automated machinery. Screens will be organized, reclaimed, coated, imaged, and taped for future production runs.

Essential Functions:

• Removes tape and excess ink from screens with the usage of scrapers and, when necessary, helps press support.
• Uses automated equipment to coat, reclaim, expose, and wash out screens as specified by the department lead.
• Uses pressure washer when needed during the reclaiming and washout processes.
• Moves screens from the post-production area to the screen room for the reclaim and coating process.
• Washes out and tapes screens.
• Files screens in the production ready rack after taping and pin holing.
• Conducts themselves in a safe and efficient manner during all activities by following all company procedures and expectations using all required safety equipment as specified.
• Organizes work area to maintain a safe and clean environment at all times.
• Assists in changing machine chemicals.
• Assists in weekly equipment cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements

• Adhere to time & attendance policies, procedures, and work area schedule 
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in daily duties
• Maintain stamina for up to eight hours of physical labor, including walking, standing, lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, packing, and moving around the warehouse. 
• Tolerate an environment where temperature and noise levels vary
• Decipher all colors and color tones for color accuracy
• Read and understand instructions and customer orders, hear, and communicate verbally. 
• Possesses explicit knowledge and the ability to navigate and troubleshoot computer ordering systems.
• Regularly required to lift and move objects an average of 40-50 lbs, occasionally lift and move items weighing more than 50 lbs.
