The Global Security Organization provides industry-leading cyber-security and business protection services to TikTok globally. Our organization employs four principles that guide our strategic and tactical operations. In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office for 2 to 3 days a week, as directed by their manager. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.
The Security Analytics Program Lead will fortify and mature programs to solve complex problems and deliver insights on trends as well as provide mentorship to other data scientists/analysts on the team. You will lead a team to utilize data-driven techniques in building solutions and dashboards to help measure, validate, identify, and envision TikTok's security program. You will design and scope out projects, build operationalized analytics tools and platforms, and most importantly, use data to find insights, diagnose problems and tell compelling stories. Besides the technical side, you will also get the opportunity to work closely with various cross functional teams, including but not limited to IT, security engineering, and privacy. You will be expected to build deep domain knowledge from your day by day work and build a strong domain expertise in information security.

• Formulate machine learning models by utilizing ML, NLP techniques to deal with real-world signals generated from privacy products/ incidents/ review areas.
• Analyze extensive, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Define metrics for measuring current and target security maturity to provide an understanding of security performance, surface strategic problems, and generate actionable insights to help teams make better judgments
• Conceptualize, develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to key security metrics and KPIs for GSO
• Collaborate with members of cross functional teams (eg. domain experts, engineers) and business stakeholders for reporting requirements and provide data analysis on various security projects
• Own the end to end process from requirements to development to delivery of metrics

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience and familiarity with operational security metrics, quantifying risk and reporting
• Working knowledge of infosec operations and standard protocols
• Strong analytical and reporting skills. Significant experience with data visualization tools or platforms (e.g. Dashboards, Tableau, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal; ability to present data and its implications in a clear, concise manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in data linkage and analysis, dashboard development, and statistical analysis tools such as SQL, R, or Python
• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Science, Engineering, Business, or similar
• Experience leading complex programs and teams
• Data pipeline or cloud engineering experiences
• Familiarity with common Machine Learning application knowledge is a plus
