Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing swimming pools and related equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain swimming pools, including vacuuming, skimming, and brushing
- Test water chemistry and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper balance
- Inspect pool equipment for any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backwashing filters and emptying skimmer baskets
- Repair or replace pool equipment as needed, including pumps, filters, heaters, and valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with pool systems
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repair
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
