Where would you step in? 
As a valuable member of our geotechnical team, you will support our water, environmental, civil, structural, and transportation projects while sitting in either our Shelton or Middletown, Connecticut offices. We offer a hybrid remote work environment and flexible Fridays in the summer. 

Our Geotechnical Team and Projects 
Our 6-person team focuses on planning, permitting, design, investigation, and construction administration services that address the many challenges of geotechnical and geo-environmental impacts on infrastructure. Our clients consist of state and local governments, real estate developers, universities/colleges, hospitals/care providers, and other commercial and industrial property owners. Our projects include geotechnical analyses and designs for a variety of structures such as wastewater treatment plants, elevated water tanks, roads and bridges, commercial and industrial buildings, major utilities, dams, retaining walls, and seawalls. 

What will you be doing? 
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be the technical leader of a team of experts in geotechnical design, modeling, report, and specification writing as well as preparing opinions of cost and record drawings. You will have the opportunity to coach and mentor geotechnical staff, while also leading and supporting other high-level staff with business development efforts to grow our geotechnical practice in Connecticut. Senior Project Managers will be highly encouraged to participate in industry organizations by networking, presenting, and publishing the results of your team’s work. 

What does a Senior Project Manager need? 
You will need over fifteen years of consulting engineering experience and increasing responsibility in the geotechnical industry. A BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or a related field is required and an MS degree is preferred. You will also need a PE license. Senior Project Managers are expected to be enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated, and have strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Senior Project Manager salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate’s skill and experience; the salary range for this position is $130,000 - $171,000.
