Main Duties

Under close supervision, prepares and revises simple to routine engineering and construction drawings from well detailed sketches, markups, charts, tables, or verbal instructions utilizing basic drafting techniques in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Performs related fundamental engineering support tasks such as updating computer lists, filing prints, distributing drawings, and gathering and maintaining records of engineering data.

Desired Education, Experience and Training

Vocational School Certificate or Associates Degree preferred. No prior experience required.

Entry level drafting position where the ability to perform semi-routine work activities is standard. Must be familiar with basic drafting concepts and have the ability to utilize PC, 2D CAD tools and other applicable hardware and software to perform duties.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is important. Basic written and verbal communication skills in English are important as well.
