Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Mechanical Contractor in Charlotte,NC on their search for a Piping Superintendent focused on Commercial and Industrial Construction here with our team in North Carolina.

The Piping Superintendent will be a company representative and serve as a point of contact with the client and the construction team when required.

Project Types: Commercial and Industrial New Construction, build outs, and retrofits

Job Title: Piping Superintendent

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and piping systems on construction sites
• Ensure that all work is completed to company and regulation standards
• Manage a team of mechanical and piping technicians to ensure that they are working efficiently
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and other construction professionals
• Ensure that all equipment and materials are available and in good working condition
• Prepare reports and documentation as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience as a Mechanical/ Piping Superintendent
• In depth knowledge of mechanical and piping systems and their installation, maintenance, and repair
• Excellent leadership and management abilities
• Excel under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures
