TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Commercial Contractor in Boise on their search for a General Foreman/Superintendent to work on mid-sized Commercial Construction Projects ranging in value up to $50 M.

The Construction Superintendent will oversee the construction of the project in the field, providing leadership to field foremen and ensuring the successful completion of trade work. The Superintendent will also work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely and quality completion of the construction process.

Title: Construction General Foreman/Superintendent (2- 4 years)

Project Types: Commercial, Office Buildings, Retail, Industrial Buildings, Restaurants, Medical Buildings

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to perform all essential Superintendent job responsibilities
• Oversee daily operation of construction projects
• Attend and participate in Safety Training Program and enforce safety procedures
• Prepare and maintain responsibility for job schedule
• Develop Owner, Architect, and other Contractors' confidence and attend meetings as required
• Review all drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Chair and/or attend ongoing Contractor meetings
• Assure work quality - set standards for quality control
• Order materials and tools and plan supply allotment to maintain schedule
• Prepare necessary reports (e.g. timesheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approval)
• Document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner
• Organize, train, direct, and coordinate field construction team including those of other contractors
• Perform start-up testing and turnover to clientele

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of experience as a Superintendent
• Experience supervising Commercial projects
• Scheduling, RFI's, Change Orders, Submittals Experience
• Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
