Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG), formerly Tidewater Primary Care Physicians, P.C., was formed in 1992 with four primary care medical groups in Newport News, Hampton, and Yorktown, Virginia. Today, TPMG has expanded its practices to include over 220 primary care, specialty physicians, and advanced practice clinicians who provide care to patients throughout the Hampton Roads and southeastern Virginia.

TPMG’s team of expert physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, diagnostic staff, and non-clinical staff all work together to provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality medical care. TPMG West Point Family Medicine has been serving patients in West Point and surrounding counties since 1923. The office provides preventative and primary care in a friendly environment that is fun-loving, energetic, and comfortable for the entire family. Our goal at TPMG West Point Family Medicine is to focus on providing the community with the best patient service with warm greetings, great customer service and exceptional care. The providers and staff strive to not only understand the patient’s medical needs, but to help the patient understand it themselves. Working on the best course to better health is everyone’s goal.  

TPMG West Point Family Medicine are seeking a full-time board-certified physician to join our team.

The practice consists of two Physicians, two Advanced Care Practitioners, and support from an experienced administrative and clinical team that performs clinical administrative tasks freeing you to focus on patients. The right candidate would be conscientious, empathetic, a good communicator and organized.

Position details:

• Full-time position: Monday-Thursday 8.00am–4.30pm, Friday 8.00am-4.00pm
• Shared on-call schedule
• Established, busy, growing practice in West Point, VA

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Current state licensure to practice medicine.
• Board Certified.
• DEA license.
• Current CPR certification.
