We are a 35-year-old, Savannah-based group of companies with multiple locations across the U.S. This position works out of the corporate office and reports directly to the CFO as a member of the Finance and Administration Department. An ideal candidate will work independently and perform many functions of the job with minimal oversight.

• Processing of full-cycle payroll data for multiple states and companies inclusive of time entry, wage deductions related to garnishments, taxes, PTO Accruals, and payroll adjustments to ensure proper payment to employees.
• Benefits administration to include open enrollment, new-hire enrollment, termination of benefits (including cobra), assisting with billing reconciliation, and assisting employees with understanding all benefits offered.
• Keep HRIS/Payroll and other supporting systems up to date with all employee changes. Includes but is not limited to entering new hires, employee status changes, rate changes, direct deposit, and terminations.
• Understands and coordinates all worker’s compensation reporting, analysis, and claim management.

• 5 years of payroll and benefits administration required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Recent QuickBooks experience is required.
• Knowledgeable of Georgia State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive/confidential matters.
• Job Type: Full-time, Exempt position, Hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
