TRUCKING DISPATCHER- Kingsport, TNTidewater Transit Co,. Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time dispatcher at our Kingsport, TN terminal.Responsibilities:- Responsible for efficient and cost-effective scheduling of drivers and routing of trucks.- Knowledge of all DOT rules and regulations a must.- Must be proficient in various computer programs including electronic logs.- Oversee manifests are completed and provided to drivers in a timely manner.- Take telephone orders and other information related to pick up's / deliveries.- Attend company meetings as required.- Coordinate activities with department heads.- Follow company policies and procedures.- Other duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.To apply and learn more, please complete the quick app to the right and if on a mobile device the app is below.
