Are you interested in sharing your knowledge and talent with students by helping them earn their CDL? Blue Ridge Community College is looking for a weekend trainer to expand its successful Commercial Driving School.

May assist with Class B instruction. Only 2 4 students per instructional session. Weekend courses are up to 12 weeks long with the potential for three, 12-week sessions per year with breaks between sessions.

Full orientation and training is included for all new instructors.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's / Required Qualifications Class A CDL, knowledge of the commercial driving industry, knowledge of DMV / DOT regulations, good verbal / written communication skills, and ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.

Additional Considerations Experience with training / instruction and transportation logistics.
