Central Virginia Community College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students in occupational / technical programs and university-parallel / college transfer programs.

Central Virginia Community College is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Welcome Desk Supervisor within our Student Services Division.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating daily activities at the welcome desk to ensure maximum customer satisfaction while also providing essential support to the Advising Services Department, including budget monitoring.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's / Required Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in MS Office software, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with student information systems.

Additional Considerations Associate’s degree in business administration, office administration, or experience in a related field preferred, demonstrated supervisory experience and familiarity with community and student services practices within a college environment are highly desirable.
