We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Analyst to join the team!

The Legal Analyst will report to the Company's General Counsel. The ideal candidate will be an individual with a legal background and JD. Responsibilities will include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts; reading and reviewing relevant statutes and legislation; staying on top of legal and regulatory changes in the industry, and other legal related tasks and projects as requested from General Counsel. This position can potentially evolve into Junior Counsel upon successful admission to a state bar.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Legal Research: Conduct thorough and accurate legal research on a variety of issues relevant to the company and the industry.
• Contract drafting,reviewing, editing, and negotiating under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Legal Analysis: Analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents to provide accurate recommendations to the company pertinent to the industry.
• Provide additional legal and administrative projects as requested by counsel

Required Skills:

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience owning projects that involve multiple internal resources.
• Ability to communicate at a high level, both in writing and verbally.
• Willingness to take on new projects.
• Legal training preferred

Experience:

• 1-2 years in a professional work setting, can be internships, required.
• 1-2 years working in the legal firm preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Full-Time
• Hybrid environment - two days are required onsite
