Overview

Ticket Boat, Inc is one of the country’s largest secondary market ticket sellers and commodities traders. Ticket Boat is seeking a Staff Accountant, with one to three years of experience, to join the team in Mission, KS. This Full-Time position will be a part of the Finance and Accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile GL accounts and bank statements.
• Focus on forecasting and budgeting expense vs cost.
• Help with quarterly sales tax returns and financial statement preparation.
• Assist with payroll entries and accruals.
• Maintain fixed asset files, schedules, and inventory reconciliation.
• Record Accounts Receivables (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and 1099 reporting.
• Maintain and track contracts, invoices, payments, lien release documents, and insurance policy information.
• Gain understanding of the Business/Operational Accounting needs.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, and/or two years accounting experience, preferably in a construction or real estate environment
• Proficient in QuickBooks (two years experience preferred)
• Advanced Excel knowledge using Pivot Tables
• Multi-tasker with an excellent focus on accuracy
• Organized and efficient with strong attention to detail (required)
• Take initiative, and work efficiently to meet deadlines

Compensation: $40,000 to $55,000, depending on level of experience.
