Reporting to the VP, Secondary Marketing, Asset Management, the Secondary Marketing Analyst is responsible for administrative functions that support Secondary Marketing. This role will be responsible for collateral/custodian diligence, underwriting diligence, final document delivery diligence, and assisting with internal control measures to prevent future diligence issues. This position is responsible for defect resolution, compliance auditing functions, production support, and service transfer functions.

What you will do for Constructive Loans:

• Report originated loans into the servicing system of record, including loan data, and images
• Assist in post-sale loan audits to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Review and respond to investor inquiries related to loan data, collateral documentation, underwriting methods, guidelines, and loan sale requirements
• Assist in the review of loans prior to origination through Pre-Funding QC Audits, Disclosure Compliance Audits, & Conditional Approval Audits
• Coordinate the resolution of issues identified during the Secondary Marketing Due Diligence process requiring updates or corrections to processing documentation, or closing documents
• Assist with providing information for completed loan sales to the Servicer for transfer of ownership to the new investor
• Review and respond to investor inquiries related to final document/collateral deliveries. Including, Recorded Security Instruments, Final Title Policies, CEMA documents, Assignments & Endorsements
• Coordinate with in-office personnel (Post Closing) for priority items/missing physical documents.
• Work through the applicable department and counterparties when necessary, or directly with borrowers
• Analyze loan characteristics and apply proper dispositions based on company and investor guidelines
• Analyze credit-related characteristics at a loan level in compliance with all guidelines
• Collaborate with multiple departments as needed
• Develop domain knowledge of the business to include an understanding of organizational objectives
• Maintain broad influence through the ongoing development of relationships across the organization
• Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and practices
• Role model ethical standards, professionalism, and code of conduct
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What you will bring to Constructive Loans:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED)
• 2 years’ of experience in quality control or equivalent mortgage production or operations experience
• Familiarity with mortgage application, processing & closing documents, as well as industry-standard legal documents.
• Familiarity with Encompass Software preferred
• Familiarity with Conventional and Commercial loans
