TIC-The Industrial Company is looking for NCCER Certified Equipment Operator Journeyman for the Magnolia Power Generating Station Project located in Plaquemine, LA.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in the role.
• NCCCO TSS or NCCER required.
• RT1 Certification required.
• Crane Operator 250 Ton required.
• Experience with LR1160.1 Fixed Jib.

Shift Information

• Current schedule is 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
• Additional overtime may be required.
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights when required.

Project Information

The Magnolia Power Generating Station Unit 1 is in a former sugarcane field along the Mississippi Rive just west of Baton Rouge in Plaquemine, LA which is in Iberville Parish. The project plans to employ up to 400 craft professionals at its peak and is expected to be completed in 2025.

This is a 705 MW 1x1 Single Shaft power plant which will use one natural gas fired General Electric 7HA.03 Combustion Turbine Generator (CTG), one Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), and one Steam Turbine Generator (STG) along with a balance of plant equipment.
