Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store runs smoothly
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Manage inventory levels and ensure products are stocked and displayed properly
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Process sales transactions using the POS system accurately
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new employees
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement sales strategies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in store management or as an assistant manager preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff
- Proficient in using POS systems and other retail software
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with payroll procedures and time management practices
- Ability to sell products, negotiate deals, and upsell to customers
