Key Accountabilities:
* Maintaining computer networks including Firewalls, VPNs, routers,
and other physical hardware
* Monitoring of computer systems to improve network performance.
* Updating firmware/operating software for network devices based on
approved versions.
* Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and
connectivity best practices to offer the best solutions and protection
to company systems.
* Implementation of disaster recovery procedures.
* Installing physical connectivity devices.
* Configuring connectivity devices based on tkMNA IT approved
standards.
* Assisting in the testing new technologies in lab environment.
* Troubleshooting issues with configuration of network devices.
* Monitoring systems for alerts/alarms and their remediation.
* Investigating and addressing security concerns/vulnerabilities
brought to the team's attention.
* Management of requests in ticketing system

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree 2 years technical trade school or
equivalent experience years of Experience

3 years as a network engineer

Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco, Meraki and/or Palo
Alto network devices
Experience managing and configuring cloud based wireless networks

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science; preferred
* 5 years experience in computer systems with 3 years as a network engineer; preferred
* Experience with managing networking in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS; preferred

* Knowledge of general processes and practices related to the position.
* Skilled in verbal/written communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to take initiative and achieve results.
* Able for accurately assess, research, and analyze information to make sound decisions.
