Maintenance L4 - PLC/Robotics Specialist position requires an advanced understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenance. Needs to possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve intermediate mechanical and electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility.

• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs, making adjustments as needed

• Successfully troubleshoots mechanical and electrical problems

• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery

• Ability to complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction; basic machining duties

• Accurate and timely data entry into maintenance system

3 to 5 years

• Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, plumbing and code books

• Advanced mechanical welding and cutting skills

• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints

• Good problem solving skills, safety practices, attention to detail and quality

• Advanced workbench and computer skills

• Advanced knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, PLC and SLC controllers and motor control circuits

• Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, plumbing and code books

• Ability to lead, train and coordinate with all departments

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

• The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts

• Frequently required lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds

• Frequently required standing, bending, squatting and reaching with hands and arms

• Regularly required to stand for long periods, walk, talk and hear

• Ability to use hand tools

• Ability to read applicable instructions
