Thank you for your interest in employment at Thunder Valley Casino Resort! Thunder Valley Casino Resort is the only AAA Four Diamond property in Placer County. We’re always looking for superstar achievers to join our ranks either full or part time.

Recommend equipment purchases and install and maintain all surveillance equipment. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s "Winning Attitude" Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.
• Have knowledge of how all-applicable video equipment operates.
• Repair equipment in an expedient manner.
• Install additional surveillance equipment as needed.
• Relocate surveillance equipment as needed.
• Keep informed of new equipment and technology as it becomes available on the market.
• Travel to other Thunder Valley Casino properties to install and repair equipment when necessary.
• Inform the Surveillance Director of all pertinent information regarding the Surveillance Department.
• Be on call for emergency equipment repair.
• Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to operations, controls, and procedures involved in surveillance activities.
• Evaluate equipment needs and order surveillance equipment as necessary.
• Operate various tools and test equipment while maintaining, installing, and repairing surveillance equipment.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and honest.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, Team Members and management in both written and verbal form.
• Ability to work constantly changing schedules to adjust to fluctuating business demands and work any shifts, including holidays, with fluctuating days off at any local property.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and mature decision-making.
• Ability to react quickly and accurately under demanding, high-stress conditions.
• Must have an electronic repair background, and/or a minimum of one year experience using CCTV equipment.
• Be self-motivated and complete job functions with little or no supervision.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain Gaming Work Card for the jurisdiction in which the property is located.
