This is an opportunity for a results-oriented candidate with a knack for sales to work in a team environment that encourages competition and rewards with commissions! As a (Bilingual Spanish) Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling Thunder Funding’s services to potential clients. The ideal candidate works well on the phone with a high level of enthusiasm and is skilled at building rapport with prospective clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify new sources of leads.
  • Follow up on leads from existing lead sources.
  • Contact prospective clients daily via phone, email, text, and/or in person.
  • Provide timely follow-up on inquiries.
  • Communicate with new leads, gathering all relevant information.
  • Update and maintain prospective clients' information in the company’s CRM.
  • If relevant, assess prospective clients' accounts receivable and aging information to determine factoring options for their business.
  • Maintain a competitive position in the marketplace throughout the sales process.
  • Negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
  • Consult with sales management to adjust pricing and program in order to win business.
  • Prepare, send, and receive a Factoring Services Agreement (FSA) to prospective clients.
  • Answer prospective clients’ questions in regard to pricing and services.
  • Collect and properly store prospective clients' documentation.
  • Assess the company’s chances of winning the transaction.
  • Submit the signed FSA and the first set of invoices to the Documentation and Compliance team.
  • Track all opportunities from beginning to end in the company’s CRM system.
  • Understand all aspects of our products and be able to successfully answer questions from the prospective client and/or referral source that are consistent with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist the company’s current clients’ needs when asked.
  • Remain current with respect to changes in the industry, such as competition, trucking industry updates, and selling techniques.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by management.
EDUCATION
  • Associate degree or equivalent skills and experience
WORK EXPERIENCE
  • At least one year of direct sales experience or bachelor’s degree.
  • Spanish speaking is required. Reading and writing are a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Factoring background is a plus.

SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday, flexible 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is an in-office role (for at least the first 6 months) with the possibility of a hybrid schedule.
PAY RANGE
$19.24 to $21.16 Plus Commission
Please note that the pay range base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a SIMPLE IRA Plan with company match, employer-paid EAP, Life & AD&D, LTD, and STD (subject to eligibility requirements).
