Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient computer and technical skills
• Must be able to approach and interact with multiple people of varying personalities
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic math skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
• Ability to adapt to new software and methods

Job Preferences:

• Knowledge of CNC and Manual Manufacturing processes
• Knowledge in two and three-dimensional CAD design
• 1-3 years of extrusion manufacturing experience
• Strong imagination to help with creating and designing jobs

Job Summary:

Create a manufacturable design for the customers required tooling and press specifications. Supports the department needs by working in design or profile programming as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

• Interpret and understand different customer and purchase order formats

• Designing the die to all customer specifications and requirements

• Understand the needs of the department that follows the design process

• Communicate with the customer on special requirements

• Work fluently with the sales and order processing departments

• Work fluently with floor personnel

• Perform other related duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position.
