What we will expect:

  • Serve as a brand ambassador and uphold the company’s reputation, core values, for quality products, exceptional client service, and ongoing training.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Plan, organize and follow daily routes to maximize efficiency in product delivery and sales information to existing and prospective clients.
  • Place & facilitate orders, communicating inventory needs with appropriate personnel.
  • Deliver products to clients on time & in correct quantities, ensuring accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track product usage to ensure adequate stock levels for clients.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
  • Maintain company-provided vehicle in a clean and operable condition.
  • Coordinate with other members of the sales team, as well as logistics and warehouse personnel, to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.

Who we are looking for:

TORQ Distribution is looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual who is curious & capable of relationship building, route & inventory management, takes pride in outstanding client service and wants an opportunity to join a growing company. This position will service an established client base over several sales territories in the Central Illinois and surrounding areas consisting of independent garages and new car dealerships in the area. An excellent opportunity to join a grow a sales territory in a rapidly expanding market!

Skills you need:

  • Preferred BA in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • Sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong interest for expanding your skillset in sales, and in turn, wanting to follow our ladder of advancement quickly
  • Curious nature and the willingness to be coached for improvement
  • Self-motivation to improve your career and financial goals
  • Must have a strong initiative and competitive nature
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Teams is a plus
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Attention to detail
