This is an exciting opportunity for an internship with the dynamic, creative team at Throughline. IDEAL CANDIDATE You are an undergraduate or graduate student interested in joining us for an upcoming semester-long internship. You are a savvy go-getter with experience and further interests in communications, strategy, design, marketing, design strategy and/or research. You have a related major and a demonstrated history of initiative and achievement. You are organized, enthusiastic, smart, and personable. You actively demonstrate an eagerness to learn. You are a self-starter adept at taking direction and working semi-autonomously as well as with a (hybrid) team. KEY FUNCTIONS We are looking for an intern to assist with outreach strategy and communications related to our work with a client's Academic Outreach and Innovation Challenge initiative. We are committed to working with the intern to get them quality tasking, and mentor them around their specific talents and interests.
Assist with outreach strategy and communications and content writing across all digital and print channels
Support long-term brand and marketing efforts and tasks pertaining to content strategy and planning
Conduct research that will aid in marketing campaigns
Learn about client relationship management
Learn design flow from concept to delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
A creative/entrepreneurial spirit
Strong work ethic, exemplary writing and communication skills
Background or interest in website, video and social content/development
Marketing and/or design education or experience is a plus
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Adobe suite a plus
A self-starter, able to take direction, run with a task, ask good questions, and enhance a project
Ability to work from one of our Studios, as well as remotely (proper set up to take calls and meetings, technology, internet, etc.) depending on the needs of the internship sponsor

Please include how many hours per week and/or specific hours you are available for the semester (a minimum of 20 hours per week is required to start and a maximum of 30 hours per week is allowed).
We have a "Remote Smart" policy around hybrid work, and it would be helpful for us to know if you have the ability to work in person from one of our Studios; however, this internship can be completed remotely.
