Veterinarian – Medical Director Full-time San Diego Pet Hospital

San Diego Pet Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to lead their team.

Who you are:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree 
• California State Veterinary Board License in good standing
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
• Experience and interest mentoring and coaching Veterinarians and support staff. 

What you’ll Do:

As the head of your hospital, you’ll have the guidance and resources to excel as a leader. This includes access to a Medical Initiatives Committeeto become stronger and more equipped to develop your practice.

We are seeking an experienced, open and approachable Veterinarian who is interested in developing as a leader.

What we are looking for someone who:

• Has commitment to practicing excellent patient care.
• Understands and applies the importance of the client experience.
• Has proficient skills in medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
• Keep current on new products and medical protocols.
• Ability to maintain accurate electronic medical records and regularly audit those of other doctors.
• Coordinate and disseminate Continuing Education for the doctor and medical team.

The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and locations.
