Thrive Home Infusion Specialists, PLLC is Hiring a Home Infusion Registered Nurse Near San Angelo, TX

Thrive Home Infusion Specialists, PLLC is seeking Registered Nurses in San Angelo, Texas area to administer in-home specialty infusions to our patients in the San Angelo area. Previous specialty infusion experience is ideal, but not required. The ideal candidate must have good IV skills and knowledge of central access devices such as implanted ports (port a cath), PICC lines, midlines, etc, and must be able to work independently, with little or no supervision. Supervising RN and Administrator are available to assist by phone if needed. Health and safety guidelines must be followed diligently.

  • This position is PRN. RN will set his/her schedule in conjunction with the patient according to the physician's orders and policies and regulations, and has the ability to accept or decline new referrals. RN will work independently without micromanagement.

Thrive provides specialty infusions and infusion related services. Thrive HIS is a licensed Home Health Services Agency in the State of Texas, so we do require a pre-employment background check and drug screen in accordance with Texas law.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily infusion/nursing notes for each patient assigned for the day.
  • Provide admission, case management, and follow up skilled nursing visits for home infusion patients.
  • Provide ongoing care/infusion services for each assigned patient, and provide necessary follow up care as directed by the Physician and/or Clinical Manager/Nurse Supervisor
  • Develop initial plan of care in conjunction with physicians, physician's orders, and initial patient assessments. Evaluate and update plan of care and provide patient education according to policy and regulations.
  • Report patient care/condition/progress to patient's physician, pharmacist, and clinical manager on a continuous basis.
  • Implement patient plan of care with cooperation from patient and family to assist them achieving patient goals and optimal resolution of patient needs
  • Discharge patients after consultation with the physician and clinical manager, and prepare and complete appropriate clinical documentation of discharge
  • Prepare appropriate medical/nursing documentation on all patients

Schedule

  • Variable: RN will set schedule in conjunction with patient according to the physician's orders and policies and regulations. Typically during normal business hours of Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, but RN can schedule weekends, holidays, and evenings if desired.

Pay

  • $45.00/hour
  • Mileage Reimbursement after 50 miles per day

  • Unrestricted/Unexpired RN license

Thrive HIS will provide a blood pressure cuff and thermometer for vital signs monitoring, and training/education on the medications that we infuse. BLS/CPR Re-Certification provided at no charge.
