Duties:
The patient care coordinator sets the tone for my clinic and will be the patients’ first and last contact, greeting them upon arrival, scheduling appointments, collecting payment, processing insurance and assisting the acupuncturist to provide the best patient experience possible.
Looking for someone with GREAT people skills--this is a customer service position first and foremost. Basic technology skills are also required as we use online scheduling for our patients, as well as email, text, and phone. Additional office duties include preparing and sanitizing treatment rooms, ordering supplies, and assisting with the business side of the practice.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task independently and enjoys engaging with patients and creating a welcoming presence for the clinic. Candidates must have a professional presentation that is representative of our practice, be conscientious, resourceful, and work well individually and with others.
Job Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient and able to prioritize tasks
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- A demonstrated track record of organization, reliability, and effectiveness
- Computer proficient (able to easily use Microsoft suite and Google, etc.)
- Experience working in a medical, spa, wellness or related office preferred but not required
- Social media skills and creativity an added bonus
This is a part-time job for about 20 hours a week within the below clinic hours:
Monday: 9:30am-2:30pm
Tuesday: 12:30pm-6:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am-12:00pm (with possible additional afternoon hours)
Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm
