Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 DOE 1% annual bonus potential

Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday; Travel daily up to 45 miles from home office (Seattle) 60% of the time. The wage listed is inclusive of travel expenses associated with travel inside the 45-mile radius of Seattle. Travel outside of 45-mile radius is eligible for mileage reimbursement.

Regional Trainer Purpose:

The Regional Trainer is responsible for training new and current Thrivers through in-person and virtual classes, workshops, and one-on-one support ensuring consistency is being achieved across Thrive’s communities. They also support the Operations team by observing property metrics to suggest if further training support would be beneficial for overall property health.

Thrive’s purpose is to create a community where associates feel seen. The Regional Trainer is expected to meaningfully contribute to and perpetuate our purpose and values.

Regional Trainer Job Responsibilities:

Onboards New Associates

  • Teach core class curriculum, supplementary classes, and workshops.
  • Provide one-on-one training on-site utilizing the training checklists.

Develops Bench Strength

  • Works with entry level associates to develop their skills into supervisor level.

Supports Teams Post-transition

  • Train new associates’ post-transition.
  • Help develop site-specific goals.

Ensures Consistency

  • Brings up inconsistencies and works with training team to remedy.
  • Monitors the Training Team email to respond to associate questions.
  • Writes recaps following one-on-one training to the Manager / Regional Manager about items covered.
  • Participates in remedial training, if needed.
  • Creates, designs, and presents courses for associates.
  • Monitors health of communities and communicates with RM team to recommend support

Other responsibilities as determined by supervisor

Regional Trainer Desired Qualifications:

  • Skilled at speaking in front of groups up to hundreds at a time.
  • Has demonstrated the ability to grow and develop people.
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Is naturally inclined to be a self-starter; works well independently.
  • Has well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish highly functional relationships with diverse personalities both within and outside the company.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to jump in on new projects.
  • At least five years of experience in the property management industry and one year within Thrive.
  • Previous training or teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Certified Professional in Talent Development preferred, but not required.
