RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategically plans academic programming
Participate in professional development to improve skills related to job assignment
Work with School Leader to develop, maintain, and use information systems to maintain record to track progress on campus performance objectives and academic excellence indicators.
Oversees and develops culture and discipline plan
Ability to make decisions based on what is best for students.
Ensure that students are adequately supervised during non-instructional periods.
Help to develop a student discipline management system that results in positive student behavior and supports learning.
Ensure that school rules are uniformly observed and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience
Master’s degree preferred.
Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in urban education, preferably Indianapolis
Experience fostering the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students
Demonstrated ability to utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision making
Experience working with diverse populations of students and families
Effective oral and written communication with diverse stakeholders
