Warehouse Supervisor

Three Way Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee distribution operations in Austin, Texas. We are a leading logistics service provider specializing in project and heavy lift support for both domestic and international transportation. Our focus markets include high tech industries, semi-conductor, aerospace, medical, telecommunication, and tradeshow industries.

Pay: $55,000 to $60,000 a year

Shift: 8 hour shifts, Tuesday - Saturday( 2PM to 10:30pm)

Responsibilities:

· Direct activities in a multi-client warehouse environment with approximately fifteen direct reports

· Provide a direct leadership presence while directing day-to-day activities in a high volume, fast paced work environment.

· Manage the development, implementation, and enforcement of operational best practices to ensure high level order fill rates, on-time shipping, order accuracy and customer service.

· Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

· Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

· Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

· Ensure all established safety practices are followed by all departments, enhance, and promote safety performance measures.

Create and Maintain SOPs to enable clear operational standards and compliance.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience within a successful Transportation/Warehouse management operation, with significant customer interaction.

· Ability to make decisions, resolve problems, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing environment.

· Strong working knowledge of receiving, put-away, pick, pack, ship, and inventory control practices, including discrepancy reconciliation, root cause analysis and corrective action.

· Must be proficient with Transportation/WMS and related software programs and MS Office applications, with emphasis using Excel, pivot tables and databases.

· Familiar WMS applications in an RF environment a plus.

· Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining standard warehouse operational metrics, including but not limited to; receiving, pick accuracy, shipping on-time performance, and inventory accuracy.

· Proven history in supervision of transportation/warehouse employees including hiring, training, job analysis and employee development, performance management and ability to motivate workforce.

· Excellent verbal, written communication, and teambuilding skills.

- Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time in a warehouse with fluctuating temperatures.

- SAP and Excel experience preferred.

- Ability to learn numerous software and processes and train based on gained knowledge
