We are looking for a friendly and reliable person with a strong attention to detail, excellent communications skills, retail experience and some knowledge in artisanal and nutritionally dense foods and products, to cashier in our Brick and Mortar store.

Primary responsibilities include assisting customers with product selection and purchases, entering glass credits and filing paperwork, end of day transaction reconciliation, maintaining store appearance, receiving and stocking products.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling cash and credit card POS (point of sale) transactions

• Interfacing with online ordering and customer accounts system

• Entering glass credits in online system and/or applying credits to live transactions

• Being able to communicate effectively with customers about Three Stone Hearth's philosophy of traditional foods

• Familiarity with housemade and retail products from outside vendors

• Assisting customers with product questions and purchases

• Stocking and displaying housemade and retail products on shelves

• Interfacing with Inventory Tracking Spreadsheet for accurate product restocking

• Keeping the store tidy and attractive

• Assisting with receiving products from outside vendors

• Reconciling daily transactions

• Store closing duties

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Arithmetic skills essential

• Highly self-motivated and organized; capacity to multitask, set priorities, and respond quickly to changing needs

• Good time management skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds to shoulder height

Schedule

Current shift(s) to fill: Wednesdays approximately 1:30 - 7:30 pm (includes initial store stocking),Thursdays 12:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturdays 9:30am - 6:00pm (includes assistance with inventory process)

Compensation

$18.00/hour plus benefits noted above.
